We got a house!!!

Finally!! After 8 long months of househunting, and somewhere around 20 offers, we got a house! It's in a nice neighborhood and on a culdesac. I tried to post video of the inside of the house, but was having technical difficulties (as usual:) So here are pics:

When you walk in, this room is to your right:

This is the view standing by the fireplace and looking back towards the front entry. It has an attached garage (that is the open door you see). And this room has a vaulted ceiling.

Another view from the fireplace (you can go into the kitchen)

When you walk inthe front door, you can either go to the living room on your right, or go straight ahead to a family room area. The kitchen can be entered from both rooms.

This is the view when standing in the kitchen. The sliding glass door on the right goes out to the back yard. The hall to the bedrooms is straight ahead. The door you see is to the master bedroom.

Here is the master bedroom (sorry picture is dark)

Another view of master bedroom. It has vaulted ceiling too.

Here is the master bath. It is a 3/4 bath...the shower is to the right.

The walk in closet.

This is the view of the hall from the door of the master bedroom. There's a bedroom on the left and one on the right. And obviously the hall bathroom is straight ahead.

Here is the bedroom on the right. It could be used as an office. It has sliding glass doors out to the backyard patio.
Here is the bedroom on the left...most likely Jake's bedroom.
Well, there it is! And the video of the backyard is down below. Of course we are excited to make some changes to the house to make it our own now. I think that will be a lot of fun. And I can't wait to decorate! We will be moving in a month...so it is time to start packing and getting ready for the move. I can't believe it!

I am 30!!!

The date came. I am now a woman in her 30's. Now I have to wonder things like: Is it time to stop shopping in the Juniors section? Should I start listening to a lot more talk radio? Should I start working on my "I am not amused" look that I give rowdy teenagers? (That was my friend Ashley's advice). Should I not have whooped and hollered along with my young women when Taylor Lautner took his shirt off in the movie at the New Moon premiere? Should I start wearing mom jeans? Should I wear a fanny pack when I'm at amusement parks?

So many questions. I don't know what to do with a body that is getting older. My mind still thinks toilet papering sounds fun (good thing I am in young womens:) and car dancing to Britney Spears is a fun time. I just plan on being one of those embarassing moms for her teenagers who act like and think they are still "hip." Ok, just the fact that I used the word "hip" should have Jake worried already.
I had a good birthday. Marc and I went to Disneyland while my Aunt Trina watched Jake for us...so, we got to do all the grown-up rides (except for the Buzz Lightyear ride which became a little addictive for us because of our competitive nature:)

I was so excited to get my birthday pin (the little things in life excite me). And everyone in the park kept telling me Happy Birthday...so it makes you feel extra special.

This is on Hollywood Tower of Terror...geez I love that ride:)

Marc also planned and threw a birthday party for me, where he arranged to have me and some friends go get pedicures, while the boys watched the kids. And when we got back, the party started with both family and friends. We had pizza, cake and played a trivia game that Marc had planned...so fun!
