Marc had a good Fathers Day...he had good food, good treats, got a nap, and watched golf, basketball and baseball with his boy. That was exactly how he wanted it. He is such a great dad in just the 2 months we've had Jake in our lives...we are lucky to have Marc!

I was not looking forward to this day...Jake got his first shots last Thursday. I felt so bad because he was laying on the table in the doctors office, so happy and smiling...he had no idea what was coming. Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as I feared. He cried, but got over it very quickly with each shot. Still, I went ahead and treated myself to some ice cream at Golden Spoon on our way home (I realize it is the kid that is supposed to get the treat...but since he can't have it yet, I'll go ahead and have it for him:)
Back in March I posted pictures of me, Rachel, and Courtney getting together in Vegas for a roommate reunion...we lived together sophomore year of college. But we were actually missing one person...Valerie! She lives in Virginia, so she wasn't able to make it. But this summer she is visiting her fam here in SoCal, and so we were able to get together--therefore making my sophomore roommates reunion complete:) We had so much fun catching up on the last several years since we'd last seen each other. Val is a lot of fun and hasn't changed a bit. I'm so glad we were able to get together--thanks for coming out here Val!
And we were able to meet each others babies. Her daughter Sophia is so cute!
Four things you may not know about me: 1. I now LOVE the show King of Queens 2. I do not permit farting in my house (Exceptions: If you are on the toilet, or if you are under 2 years old) 3. *I can't become a morning person. I will never just wake up on my own at 6 or 7 am ready for the day...not gonna happen. *I am extremely gullible. I try not to be, and I have gotten much better at recognizing when Marc is kidding. But still, I fall for stuff all the time. Four places I go over and over again: Home Depot or Lowes, Ralphs, Target, Whittier Four people who email me: Babycenter, Pebbles in my Pocket, spam people, and different friends and family members do once in a while for different reasons My four favorite foods: pasta with pink sauce (alfredo and marinara mixed), donuts, french toast, Quiznos roast beef dip sandwich Four places that I'd rather be: BV Lake (in Bakersfield), Yosemite, Hawaii, the beach Four movies I watch over and over again: Tommy Boy, School of Rock, Blades of Glory, and The Notebook

Jake got blessed in our ward on Sunday...we felt so loved and supported with all of our family and friends that came out for it. It was a wonderful day and we feel so blessed to have Jake in our lives. Here he is in his little blessing outfit.
Here's everyone that came...we had a luncheon at our place afterwards that was a lot of fun.
