We went and got our 4d ultrasound yesterday and it was so amazing to get to see our little guy. And as soon as we saw his face, there was no denying that as far as we can tell with this ultrasound, we have created a mini-me for Marc! His nose and mouth look exactly like Marc's.
I can't stop looking at the pictures I have from the session. It makes it all seem so much more real to me to be able to see my baby...it is so cool! I am SO excited for my baby boy to be born (except for the delivery part:)...the video of the session is being mailed to us...I'll put it on here once I get it.

Surprise!
Okay, I seriously have the most awesome husband ever!! He threw me a surprise party that I seriously did not have the slightest idea was coming. At New Years, I had made the plan with my grandparents that we were going to go to their house on Saturday the 12th (we were helping them out with some things). Well, sneaky little Marc planned a party at their house that day...so you can see how I had no idea it was coming...we were going there for a plan I had made! Anyways, when we got to the house I walked in the door first and there was a whole group of people yelling Surprise! Words cannot possibly express the shock that the surprise had on me. My very first response was it scared the living daylights out of me...and then after those first few seconds I was so happy and laughing because I was just so surprised. From the shock, I felt my face get really hot and I of course turned bright red..and my heart was racing. It took me a few minutes to get back to normal:)
Marc along with my Grandma, Aunt Trina, and Jeff & Lauren had decorated, had a whole food spread, birthday cake, games planned and presents...it was a full on party. My extended family was there, friends, AND my Dad & Mike even drove down from Bakersfield for it. Marc had planned 2 games...the paper of questions to see who knows me the best, and an egg toss. It was so much fun...such a great party. Marc will have points from that for a long time:)
My Birthday
I turned 28 on Jan. 7th...and had a really good birthday. A cool coincidence I realized that day, was that it was also the day I turned 28 weeks pregnant...kinda cool, huh? Anyways, I decided to go to my acting class on my birthday...it is a class I've been taking for a year and a half in Hollywood every Monday. It turned out when I got there they had a power outage and class was canceled, so me and some of my friends from the class went out to lunch at Wahoo's. It was really fun...oh, and we saw Sean Hayes (the actor from Will and Grace). Now I, being the teeny bopper I still am and will probably always be, still get very excited about any celebrity sighting...but when one of the other girls started to take a picture with her camera phone...the others got on her for acting like a fan and not a fellow actor...I thought it was really funny...so then I had to play it cool...so, no picture to show of Sean Hayes...but here we are at Wahoo's:
Marc and I went out to dinner at Lucille's later that night. I can't even put into words how good it was...course everything is extra delicious to me right now:)
Then we went to Build-a-Bear. Yes, I realize I was in a line surrounded by kids that were 4-8 years old...Going to Build-a-Bear is sort of a tradition that Marc and I have done on most of my birthdays. The year we got married I made a bride bear...its super cute...and this year I'd hoped to make a pregnant bear. But it turns out they don't have anyway to really make the bear look pregnant:( So, I went with the next best thing and made a bear for our baby boy...a Dodger bear so he can get associated with the right team early on...
I take all the parts of building the bear very seriously.
What a husband I have! He made me breakfast in bed that morning and there were roses waiting for me when I got home from Hollywood that day.

Happy New Year 2008!!
For New Years every year the entire Shaw clan (my mom's side of the family) gets together at my Grandma's house and we do a reunion/Christmas party/New Years party all in that night. This is the whole pack:
The Richardson fam:
My Grandma and her 5 kids (My mom, and my aunts and uncles)
Marc was sick and not feeling well at all on New Years Eve...but I managed to get him to fake a smile for the blog shot:)
The photog wanted me to show off my beer belly:)...
It was a fun one...I always look forward to hanging out with my cousins every year and all being together. It's funny cuz as a group me and my cousins are still called "the teenagers" even though we are all in our mid to late 20's, married, and having kids. But whenever we all get together it does feel like we are still just teenagers...it's crazy how time flies and that we really are grown ups with families! But I am excited that it is 2008 because it is bringing some fun changes to my little family with Marc:) Happy New Year! Hope you had a good one too!
