The Waiting Game

I thought I'd send out an update...as of now, still no baby! I had no idea it got this hard at the end...the waiting! And my due date isn't even until tomorrow...but yet I feel like I'm a week overdue. I'm just so excited for him to get here, and every day all I think about is "maybe it's gonna happen today." And so every day that passes makes it seem like time is moving SO slow. Before when I'd hear girls complain at the end of their pregnancy about the day not being here fast enough, I'd think..."what's it matter? You know you'll have your baby within a week or two." But now, I so get it! It is such a weird feeling not knowing when the moment is going to come! Anyways, now that I've complained about that for long enough...I think we're going to induce this week anyways...my dr. said she'd do it as long as I'm over my due date...so we're figuring, why not?? We'll see--and I'll keep you posted:)

The Nursery!!!

Through my whole pregnancy, I have been so excited to decorate my baby's nursery. I started working on it a couple months ago and have just finished it. Now I just need the baby that goes in it:) So here it is...the theme is mainly frogs, but also the "little pond" theme (frogs, turtles, etc.)

My baby shower

My baby shower was SO much fun...thanks to Lauren, Shannon, Grandma, Tiffany, mom, & suzanne. Thank you so much to all of you for putting it together. There were fun games we played, good food, and I got lots of cute stuff for the baby and his nursery.

Laker Game

Marc and I went to a Laker game the other night...our seats were literally the very top row--can you see my nosebleeding in the picture? J/K:)

It was fun though...we could still see fine. Plus we brought binoculars which made me feel very up close and personal with the players. I sort of felt like I was stalking Kobe...During time outs I would just watch him through the binoculars--okay, I probably shouldn't have admitted that. But I thought it was fun:)

Cindy Crawford mole

I seriously realize I probably shouldn't post this picture...it is just this felt circle thing that you put on cabinet doors so they shut quietly...it is sticky on the back so I stuck it on to be my Cindy Crawford mole the other night. I didn't think it was that big of a deal...but Marc was seriously disturbed by it. I thought it was so funny how much it was upsetting him that I wore it the whole evening and kept trying to get him to make out with me (it didn't work). Let's hope I never grow a real one there or I will have major marital problems!

Vegas Weekend

A few weekends ago Marc and I drove up to Vegas so I could spend the weekend with Rachel and Courtney...the 3 of us were roommates during our sophomore and junior years at BYU...we stayed at Rach and Mike's and had a great weekend catching up and hanging out just like old times...

We went out to eat and did some shopping...

Rach and Court were so awesome...they gave me the CUTEST baby gifts! Rach gave me an outfit that my boy will look like a stud in...and Court gave me a Roxy diaper bag that is perfect for me:

We joked at the end of the weekend that Marc and Mike actually ended up doing more stuff than us girls...they played tennis twice, and went golfing twice

Once again, I proudly announce the work of my fabulous hairdresser:) Rach did my hair before we left--thank you Rach so that I don't have to have major roots when having the baby!!!
